Steve and Barbara Johnson in Budapest reported that their Rézkígyó Coffee House is open for business on weekdays! “Until recently the coffee house has operated on an event basis. During the past two years Steve has felt increasingly compelled to open up to the public during the morning and daytime hours. We want to share our beautiful space and expand our reach to more people. The last two months have been crazy – preparing the space for continuous daytime operation, compliance with additional health department requirements, and organizing the team for this great new expansion of our ministry to Budapest. We already have some regular customers and are enjoying the opportunity to welcome new people into our space every day. Please pray for us as we continue to iron out details and adjust to this new mode of operation. We have such a great opportunity to share the hope of Jesus. This is now happening every day over amazing coffee and fresh baked pastries!”

Beth and Chalo Sandoval are supported missionaries in Mexico. Beth has been diagnosed with leukemia and has been undergoing chemo, as well as unplanned surgery for related abdominal problems. Her platelets became critically low and she developed infections. Beth’s spirits are good, in spite of her pain, and she is focusing on what she DOES have to do rather than what she cannot. She asks for prayers for strength and hopes to be able to travel to the U.S. next week to see her father, who has been in cardiac care.
