About Laurie

Laurie Edwards has served as pianist and choir accompanist at Emerald Bay Community Church since 2017. She is a retired elementary music specialist, having taught music in Texas public schools for 30 years. She is a native of Sheridan, Wyoming, and received her degree in music education with emphasis in piano/choral from Arizona State University. Laurie enjoys accompanying for school choirs, musicals, soloists, and instrumentalists in the Tyler area. She also teaches private piano lessons.
